Download and install NyxBoost

System requirements

• Windows 10 version 1809 or later, or Windows 11, 64-bit (x64).
• Disk space: the file itself (about 69.6 MB) and the data folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\NyxBoost — the change history, backups and settings.
• No administrator rights are needed to run it. Some settings need them — NyxBoost asks only when you press the button.
• The internet is used only for update checks, your account and features you start yourself (speed test, VirusTotal).

How to check that the file is the original

Download NyxBoost only from nyxboost.com: other sites offering NyxBoost.exe are not ours. After downloading, compare the file's checksum with the SHA-256 above. In PowerShell, in the folder with the file:

Get-FileHash .\NyxBoost.exe -Algorithm SHA256

If the strings match, it is exactly the file we published. The antivirus scan of this file is on VirusTotal.

Why Windows says “Windows protected your PC”

NyxBoost is not signed with a paid developer certificate yet, so SmartScreen does not know it and warns. That does not mean anything is wrong with the file. Check the SHA-256, then click “More info” → “Run anyway”. A few antivirus engines with heuristics sometimes wrongly flag unsigned programs; we report such cases to the antivirus vendor.

First start

1. Put the file in a convenient folder (for example, Documents) and run it.
2. The introduction: language, sign-in (optional — everything except Premium and the AI chat works without it), a check of your PC.
3. Nothing changes without your confirmation: before every change NyxBoost shows “before → after”, and before changes with administrator rights it offers a restore point.

Updates

NyxBoost checks for a new version at start and every 30 minutes. Update with “Update now”, or turn on “Update automatically” in Settings → About. A new version is downloaded only from nyxboost.com, and NyxBoost checks its SHA-256 before replacing the file.

How to uninstall NyxBoost

NyxBoost installs no services, drivers or hidden tasks.

1. If you want Windows settings back as they were, undo the changes in the Recovery section.
2. Turn off autostart in Settings (if you turned it on) and delete your scenarios in Automation (if you made any).
3. Delete NyxBoost.exe and the folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\NyxBoost.
