File checks with VirusTotal

• VirusTotal on the File analysis page (optional): looks the file up by its hash in the service's database using your key. It shows how many of the responding antivirus engines flagged it, the analysis date, the file name and type on record, the result from each engine and a link to the report. The verdicts are careful: a few detections are not proof, and no detections are not a guarantee.
• A file is uploaded for scanning only with your explicit consent and only if it is a program of up to 32 MB; documents, archives, scripts, source code and keys are never uploaded.
• Under VirusTotal's terms, the free public key may not be used in commercial products, so the feature turns on only after you confirm your key has that right. The key is stored encrypted on this PC. Without a key, everything works as before.
