• Subscription by code instead of a licence file: Settings → Edition has a field for the code and an Activate button. The code is tied to one PC (through an anonymised identifier), the term of 30, 90 or 365 days or lifetime starts at activation, and it can be moved to another PC up to two times. The licence is checked offline and renewed automatically; without internet, Pro keeps working for up to 14 days. Old licence files still work.
• Ask AI works without a key from the buyer: requests go through the NyxBoost server with a daily limit. The Claude key field has been removed from the app.
• The VirusTotal key panel is hidden until a commercial licence is obtained.
