New Repair section, Optimization and Gaming merged
- “Repair”: “Check the problem” only reads (network, update installation errors for the last 30 days, Store, File Explorer, DISM /CheckHealth) and ticks the matching fixes: restart File Explorer, icon cache, DNS, IP renewal, Winsock/TCP-IP reset, Windows Update cache, wsreset. SFC and DISM moved here from “Diagnostics”.
- Menu: “Optimization” and “Gaming” are now one item with tabs. Old links from recommendations, “Advisor” and search lead to the right place. “Gaming readiness” is available for free.
- Power: a description of the power plan instead of its GUID, plus “more” with the actual settings from powercfg and warnings.
- Icons for programs and Store apps in “Apps”.
- Fixed: restarting File Explorer with administrator rights also closed the desktop for other users of this PC — now it happens only in your own session.
- Fixed: “Gaming readiness” did not find an installed Visual C++ x86 and offered a download that failed with error 0x80070666.
