One account, one PC
- One account, one PC. Reinstalling Windows on the same motherboard counts as the same PC. Switching to another PC happens automatically, at most once every 15 days; you can always go back to your previous PC. Three different PCs within that time count as handing the account over: the account is blocked, but the block can be reversed.
- Hardware bans look at individual components (motherboard, BIOS, processor, system drive; only anonymised fingerprints are sent to the server). A ban applies when two or more match, so replacing a single drive does not lift it.
