Restart reminder and taskbar setting checks
- A "Changes take effect after…" banner on any page: its button restarts Explorer, signs you out or restarts the computer (the last two after confirmation). The reminder is kept between launches and disappears by itself once Windows has actually restarted Explorer, the session or the computer. Undoing the change before the restart removes the reminder.
- Taskbar settings are checked against reality: after Explorer restarts, NyxBoost looks at the actual taskbar (read only). On Windows 11 25H2, Windows ignores "Icons on the left" and "Seconds in the clock" — this is now shown as "No effect in this Windows" with a hint on where to turn it on in Windows Settings, instead of a false "On".
- Disk analysis: tiles for the drives found (letter, label, how full) — one click picks a drive and starts the analysis; the analysis can be stopped.
