Stop Windows from saving screenshots (Recall)
On Copilot+ PCs, Recall takes a screenshot every few seconds on its own and keeps them so you can search your past. The policy stops these snapshots from being saved and Recall from being turned on, and also turns off Click to Do.
Expected effect
Windows stops collecting snapshots of everything on your screen. Ones already saved are deleted in Settings → Privacy & security → Recall & snapshots. On PCs without Copilot+ nothing changes.Possible side effects
Recall and Click to Do stop working. Group policy: Settings may show a note that your organization manages some settings. What exactly changes

How to undo it
Before a change NyxBoost saves the previous values; "Revert" brings them back and removes those that did not exist before.
- In NyxBoost: Recovery → “Revert” next to this setting's entry.
- Without the program: open the Registry Editor (regedit), go to the key from the table and put back the previous value — NyxBoost records it in its change history.
How NyxBoost checks the result
After applying, NyxBoost reads the values again and compares them with the expected ones. To see the real effect on your PC, use FPS Lab: it measures the same game before and after.
