FPS Lab finds bottlenecks
- Bottleneck detection after every FPS Lab run. During the measurement, CPU, GPU, memory, video memory and disk load, CPU clock and throttling, and the game's own CPU share are recorded once a second. The checks cover the GPU or CPU (including a single game thread), an FPS limiter or V-Sync, throttling, low memory or video memory, a slow disk, background programs, uneven frame times and display adapter errors.
- Each conclusion needs at least two matching signals and at least 10 seconds of measurements; it shows its confidence, the numbers behind it and other possible explanations. When there is no data, the app says nothing rather than guess.
